- Scotch tape
- Lace trim
- Glue gun
- Decorative beads
We will first do the necklace part. Use scotch tape and wrap around the tip of the ribbon for easy threading through the beads.
After you thread through the first bead, tie a knot at both sides. Keep going with the amount of beads you would like for your necklace. Then your necklace part is done.
Next, we will work on the fabric flower. Cut the fabric into circles (depending the size of flower you are making, this one I made it with a diameter of 2.5″. Make about 7 circles. One will be used as base.
First fold the circle in half, then fold again. Next, fold only one side towards the other direction. This is then your flower’s pedal. Do the same with the rest.
Glue each pedal on the base fabric. Then, do the second layer with the rest of the pedals.
Layer your flower up with some lace trim. Fold the trim into a circle and glue onto the flower. Embellish it with some beautiful beads and lace trim. Your flower is finished!
The final step is to find the perfect spot for your flower on the necklace and glue it on! You are done! If you leave the ribbon long enough, this can be share between you and your little girl. Or you can make two matching necklaces!
